I won this from an auction. The motor did not come with it. I only wanted the metal rods, but once I loaded I got curious about what it is. I was thinking it was a pipe threader, but now second guessing my self.

Could be, looks like some sort of adjustable stop, maybe out of a shear . Those look like acme threads in those arms and would be used for the position of the stops , that other stuff drives them.
