I'm liking my Wolverines' chances. They knocked off the #1 Seed (UCLA), and won today over Texas Tech. They have THREE strong pitchers. The winning pitcher today (Kauffman) went to the same high school as my older boy (Brother Rice HS, Bloomfield Hills, MI).

Anybody but Michigan should win this. Ain’t no way in hell that a team that has snow on it’s baseball field during the regular season should beat a bunch of teams from the South.

Yet...they just went to 2-0 in the tournament. Michigan actually has a pretty rich baseball history. I remember them being in the CWS a lot when I was a kid/teenager.

They are playing with a lot of confidence and are peaking at the right time....I may pull for them since Aubie wasted a spot....
