Another major week this week. Pebble Beach will be a welcome treat after several years of questionable courses and set ups. There are so many big names in good form right now it should be fun to watch. I'm going to go with DJ or Spieth. I also like Snedeker as a sleeper. Who are yall liking?

I think DJ gets it done. Xander and Koepka wil likely be in the mix, in my opinion.

After what Mcllroy did last weekend I would think he'd be a big favorite. Golf being a momentum sport.

Phil has won 5 of his 44 tourney wins at Pebble Beach (including one just 4 months ago).

Might be one of his last good chances at a major not at Augusta.

and missed the last 3 cuts in US Opens in general.

5 missed cuts, 5 made cuts (1 win) in 10 career US Opens.

Tiger...ideally it would be a Father's Day final pairing of Woods and Mickelson with Tiger lifting the trophy in the end and reminding Phil once and for all who his daddy is. rofl

Phil wining a US Open at pebble would top tiger winning the masters. I’d like to see it.

I cut it off before I got down to him, but Tommy Fleetwood is 35-1. Another great value. His game is a good fit for PB

Kopeka slowed down, finally. Looks like it will be a cramped leaderboard going into tomorrow.

Well they kinda tore Pebble Beach apart today. I hope they firm up and slicken up the greens over the next 3 days. I always like to see the pros struggle and complain at the US Open. Scores today look more like the John Deere Classic

My fantasy pool team , picking 5. Lowest aggregate score.

Koepka, Rose, Ousty, Mcillroy and Speith.

If Dadgum Speith steps it up I maybe getting a new scope.

The 4 under that Furyk shot today was a great round in those conditions. I'm guessing, unless they get some rain, that the winning score will be around where the current leaders are.

Woodland rolls in about a 45 footer on his 18th hole for birdie. Another 65 today in the US Open and a 2 shot lead for him.

I dont see any way it won't take double digits in the red to win unless the usga tricks the course out. I really dont know that they can at this point with the weather. It's like Erin Hills all over again. Soft fairways and greens, no wind, and no speed on the greens.

The US open is supposed to be the "toughest test in golf" and thus far, it looks like any average PGA tournament.

Soft conditions and lack of wind have made the course gettable. I have no idea what will be the winning number but I wouldn't be shocked to see someone shoot 5 or 6 under and chase the leaders down. If Rose finds fairways he'll be hard to beat.

No doubt but Woodland has it going, too. One hiccup from any of the top 4 or 5 could change everything. While I was typing BK rolled in another birdie. That guy is a monster.

Koepka has hit an obstacle on 8...still has a putt for bogey.

They're just plodding along. All Woodland has to do is play evenly, not screw up and unless Rose or Koepka do something spectacular he'll win.

This is about the most unenthusiastic Open that I can remember. It sounds like a Friday afternoon at the John Deere Classic.

I think Woodland will win from here. He hasn't panicked and keeps recovering from the bad shots. Brooks has started making mistakes after every birdie.

Woodland is a solid player and, if he wins, good for him.

Woodland and Koepka have both hit two of the best recovery shots onto the green that I doubt 2 other players in the world could have hit. A bunch of mistakes being made by both, though.

Whos the dumbass in the crowd that yells get in the hole as loud as he can as soon as contact is made with the ball ? Extremely annoying. Had to mute sound just to watch a few minutes of it. Think Id rather hear Beth Mowins call an awburn game.

Wheels may be falling off Woodland...

Koepka may squeeze the trophy for the third year in a row.

He's scrambling for sure. It seems the back side is playing way more difficult than the first 3 days. There were a bunch of guys who tore the front up only to give shots back on the final 9 holes. Makes for good entertainment in my opinion.

The biggest roar I've heard today was when Tiger birdied 18 to finish 11 back (at the time).

Woodland has put it in an awful spot on 17. If Koepka can birdie 18 it will be an interesting finish.

Woodland hit a hell of a chip on 17 to save par.

Woodland seems like a class guy. I really like the red white and blue outfit with the American Flag golf shoes. 👍

For the first time in 2 years it looked like the pressure finally got to Koepka. He had plenty of chances down the stretch and blew all of them.

Hell of a pressure shot for Woodland on 17.
Seems to be a good guy.

Koepka and Rose gagged this one away. Woodland's chip on the 17 green? Doggone, man. Ice blood right there. He'll be a good champion.

That chip from basically on the green to another part of the green was amazing. 40 footer at the end was icing on the cake.

Did y’all hear the fan in the gallery yell War Eagle when he hit his tee shot at 17? I kept rewinding it to make sure I wasn’t hearing things. Yelled it plain as day.

Woodland does seem like a good guy. I’d have been ok seeing Koepka win again too. Really all I was wanting was to see an American win. Can’t stand to see the Euro’s win. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I also cracked up when Woodland and Rose hit their tee shots at #6. As Woodland hit, somebody yelled "Yahtzee!" as loud and he could! When Rose hit it, the same guy yells "Krakatoa!" Made me laugh at the originality!

You can quickly tell how good of a guy someone is by how many of the other pros come back out to congratulate, hug, high five them after winning.

They are just attention whores. I was at the Masters a few years ago and only heard one dumb ass yell "mashed potatoes" on the weekend but I seriously thought it might be worth missing the tournament and the bail money if I just slapped the dog crap out of him.

I wish 3-4 people would just be the holy dogshit out of anyone who yells like that at any tournament other than the Phoenix Open, and no one else standing around would see anything.

"Nah, was watching golf, man. I didn't see anything."

"Snitches get stiches. Didn't see chit."

"Didn't see nothing but Mrs. Crane over there. She's a little monkey woman. She's lean, mean and not too far in between."

"Was looking for the beer stand. Someone got beat up?"
