I’ve got a couple of Triaxs, a NoCam HTX, a Z7 and my old Q2. I shoot them all very well, but the Triax is my favorite right now. It’s the smoothest, quietest and fastest of them. Go to your local shop and shoot the Triax and Vertix. If you prefer a longer axle to axle bow, try the Traverse.

I shoot a Halon 6 and absolutely love it. It's a little on the heavier side but once I got used to it I learned that I prefer a heavier bow as I can hold it steadier. same and same. I always hear people talking about how light their bow is. aside from the walk in, if all goes well, I hold my bow for about 15 seconds on a hunt.

I love the Triax. Hunted with it this past season and loved the short axle to axle for hunting in treestands and out of my hunting blind. Extremely quiet at the shot. The 9 point and 2 does I was able to harvest didn’t flinch at the shot at all. Zero noise, which in my opinion trumps everything else in a hunting bow!
