I could eat lunch like this every dang day
Taco salad without shell
Lettuce, black beans, ground beef, cheese, pico de gallo, fresh jalapenos, sauteed onions and peppers, southwestern vinaigrette and salsa.

Everything in that bowl is all natural food that you can pick it, pull it and butcher it so eat it!

If I ALWAYS ate like I show in my normal food pics....I would probably weigh 400 pounds. But that's not me all the time, just a decent amount.
Salads are ok...but I really love taco salads.

Tomorrow I'm eating at Nicki's West.....I'm just going to completely not even look at the dressing, mac n cheese, cobbler or big ass rolls. Greek Chicken w/ spinach, yellow squash and field peas most likely. Cornbread muffin....I will probably have 1/2 of 1 to sop up the greek chicken sauce. I normall have 2 and maybe get them to bring another one. Imagine that?

3 week update.

I have dropped 10 pounds by simply cutting out sugar...no sweet drinks or desserts...and by a 99% reduction of bad carb junk food like fries, chips, candy bars, crap. This week starts a more focused reduction in bread and pasta.

I already feel much better and my knee pain is mostly vanished. Sugar is delicious but the devil in the quantities I was consuming.

Good deal Mike, proud for you.

Tomorrow will be my 2 month Keto thread update.

Stray

I started when you did. Close to your weight, but I am a short fella.

I eliminated heavy sugars, boxed foods, and white carbs (breads, potatoes). Still eating lots of fruits, vegetables, and meat. Down 12.

Starting today too

Hoping to go (almost completely) carb free.

I’ve set a goal/timeline of the month of June.

I've successfully cut out sugars and junk food, headaches and withdrawals are long over. About to kick in full keto mode .

Supper tonight:
Hamburger steak, grilled onions and peppers and mushrooms, ceasar salad, water.

Sounds great. You will have to monitor the grilled onions in full ketosis as they contain quite a bit of sugar when cooked.
