What are the cost of some of the plans you guys have for your various cameras? I want a camera that will send pics to my phone as soon as it is taken for varmint control purposes and curious about costs of such plans.

I’m running Bushnells at 10 bucks a month each camera. I would not recommend Bushnell though and will be changing to Spartan or Cuddlink next season. Bushnells have been reliable but picture quality is terrible.

I run Spartans and they have a few different plan options. It’s pretty much like a prepaid phone plan. I have always went with the 3 month data plan and it’s like 19$ and I haven’t ran out of data in a 3 month time frame yet. Love my Spartans and will be adding a couple more this season.

I use a Spartan camera. You can add a line to your existing phone plan for 5 dollars a month with verizon.

Spy point has only charged me once in a year. I am supposed to be paying $15/month. I have 2, the other one is on the free plan. If I were getting charged, I'd be pissed. But the answer to the question is $15/month per camera for unlimited.

I've got good news coming soon from Spypoint on their Data Plans. The pricing will be the lowest in the industry.

I think I have talked myself into buying the CuddeLink system at $30 a month for 16 cameras. I can buy 4 cameras and learn the setup so I only have to check the home camera to get the pictures from all the cameras. After I am happy with setup I can signup for the cell coverage. I can add more cameras up to a total of 16. If I have a camera on all my bait sites I will know which stand to hunt and know what time the deer are coming in. Easy Peasy...

I have the cuddelink system and love it, but you probably wont be happy with them on bait sites unless you have them on one of their external battery packs. That's the only issue I have with mine is I usually only get about 25 days out of my cameras on the regular internal batteries. On bait sites, it's more like 15

I will use the Dual Power Bank that they have come out with and may put a solar panel on a few of the cameras. If everything I have read I should be able to get 6-7 months and up to a year with the solar panel. I do understand when using them on a feeder I will get 60-100 pictures a day so that will take a lot more power to transmit this many. I used a Spypoint last year on a feeder and with the external battery it lasted 6 months.

What cameras are you running the "G" or the "J" series?

Yea, I think with the dual power bank and solar, you should be happy with it, I just figured you ought to know of that added cost up front. I'm running the J series cameras. I'll be adding probably 4 or 5 more to my current set up this year. Mine helped me catch 2 poachers turkey hunting 4 days before the season opened, so in my eyes, they have already paid for themself.
