WTH? Planted them twice and most ain't coming up this year. I thought growing beans were like burning water on the stove. Never had an issue with them until now. Maybe a bad batch? I don't know.

I had the same issue with the Henderson Lima beans this year. Only about half the seed I planted came up. I think it's a bad batch of seed also.

Thanks MM. I think I'll try another source and see what happens.

Sounds like bad seed. I have had that happen before. Good luck.

Did you use a planter or hand sow? I've planted with a planter and had seeds not come up quit a few times. I hand sowed my whole garden this year and it looks great. It still could be bad seed.

It be's that way sometimes.

I hand planted like always. I'm going to try a third time with some from another store after this weekend and rain.

Seed older than a year probably. Make sure that dirt is good....i test my dirt a few times a year. Ph, nitrogen, phosphate and potash. That way i know exactly what i need to do.

This year i thought id have to fertilize my land. Well im still good. So that $1 test saved me $50 in fuel and 2 days of work.
