Hog hunting in Hurtsboro, AL. I’ve got 1,275 acres of private land bordered by two huge plantations. Hog numbers are high and hunting pressure is low. This is the first year I’m doing guided hunts. I’m not trying to make a living off of it, just make some money on the side to try and help with land upkeep costs. I’ll probably do hunts a couple of days a week with small groups of up to 2-4 people a day. I’ve got a battery powered Polaris ranger with two rear seats to shoot off of, tripod feeders on timers spread out on the property with motion activated green lights, and cellular trail cameras that text me pictures so I know exactly when the hogs show up in different places. I’ve got a few ARs and green gun mounted lights that you can use or you can bring your own gun. I’ve got a hand held thermal scanner to locate hogs at night. I only have 2 suppressors right now (I’ll have two more suppressors soon. The ATF should be approving them any day now). If you want to use archery equipment I can accommodate that.

I’m planning on starting hunts around 4:00pm and going until around 10:00pm. Most of the hog movement I’m seeing so far this summer is late afternoon and the first couple hours after dark. Base price would be $300 per hunter for the afternoon/night. Price could vary up or down some depending on exactly what you want to do. No size limit or number limit on what you can kill. If you want meat I’ll quarter them up and get them in your cooler to take home.

This won’t be a hunt where you just sit in a deer stand for hours hoping a hog wanders by. If you do sit in a stand it will be because hogs are hitting that bait site every day consistently. I’ve got cameras on all the bait sites and I will check them before the hunt so I know where is best to spend our time. You won’t just sit in the heat and wait not knowing if there are any hogs around or not.

I work three 12 hour days a week and I work every third weekend so I have weekend hunts and weekday hunts available. The first hunts should be starting at the end of May. Message me for available dates and with any questions you have.

Welcome back after 5 years of not posting! Looks like a good deal. I may be interested in a hunt over the summer
