Camp looking for select members for 2019/20 and beyond

4-F Hunting Club, Monroe county between Franklin and Beatrice. 1250ac, 12 plots(11 with houses), plenty of hardwoods, creekbottoms. Deer, hogs and some turkey. Camp facility adjacent with camphouse, covered skinning shed, shooting range, covered atv storage, camper hookups if you prefer with power and water. Very low pressure (and membership as we’ve lost two members this past season, one died, other retired and moved from area). Dues reflect this and will be @ $2k with 8 members. Currently 6. We’d like 9-10 total. All current members are from Mobile, mostly industrial shift workers. Low pressure. Currently drama free and we like it that way!

I was in this club 25 years ago. I have some great memories of this place and it is some beautiful property. Back then we had 1500 acres with 15 members. It was a little pressured then but looks like yall have reduced membership and raised dues. We weren't very selective back then but I could see with a little management it could produce some good deer.

About 6 years ago the 250 acre tract directly across from the campsite was clear cut and the lease raised about $3/acre. We had to just let that go. Like with so many clubs, we don’t have the numbers we want, membership wise. It’s a fine line between letting everybody in to get dues down to bargain basement prices, or pay a bit extra to not have the equivalent of public land hunting. The property has good potential which is occasionally realized. We don’t shoot everything that crosses our path.
