Go to Florida and buy a fishing or hunting license and see how much you pay. It ain't just Bama doing the price bumping.

Funny to hear Bama hunters complain about out of state hunters. Yeah cause other states don't complain about non resident hunters 🙄

I think the $51 for a non-resident is ridiculous. Though I think it's crazy to have to pay extra for it, I could handle the $15.
Will you still be able to have a feeder over 100 yards and out of sight, without the extra permit? I will honestly say that I wish it was 5 times the cost for nonesidents. For decades I have watched many many hunters from Florida ride down our road with their trucks looking like lowriders with corn. They have broke the law continuosly. We have never used corn. Were probably the only ones who have hunted legally in our area. I dont doubt what you say, but that has nothing to do with me. I think it's silly to have to pay $51 to throw corn I own on the ground I own and shoot a deer anywhere near it. I dont need it to kill a deer. The state of Al would get $15 from me, but because the decided it will cost a non resident $51, I doubt they will get anything from me. Their loss.
May the sound of hounds never die!

Funny to hear Bama hunters complain about out of state hunters. Yeah cause other states don't complain about non resident hunters 🙄 No doubt. When I was hunting in Oregon the warden told me to cover my plates when parked because the locals don't like people from out of state killing their Elk.

Where I hunt in Butler County it's the locals that kill everything they see And break numerous laws . Non residents pump a lot of money into the economy in Alabama for hunting. It would sure suck if Florida starting charging out of state folk 5x more than what residents pay! Bama should do like Florida, make nr’s pay an extra bone to hunt turkeys

Funny to hear Bama hunters complain about out of state hunters. Yeah cause other states don't complain about non resident hunters 🙄 Oh they do. First time I hunted in Illinois somebody took a screw driver to all the out of state plate vehicles at the parking spot. It hurt my feelings for sure in my 10 year old Toyota but my buddy drove his wife’s brand new suburban Escalade. I think his bill was about 12k.

Obviously it isnt right to gig tbe NR, but it is just as wrong for the local person to lose out on hunting prop. Not sure what they answer is as there are valid arguements in both directioms. Definitely some valid points. But I know for a fact that at least 2 wealthy landowners (sure there was more) in Bama, were in favor of, and trying to push this feeder permit BS 6 or 7 years ago (maybe longer) so i guess they just might get their wish

Now this is a legitimate concern, and the reason NR’s are buying up the leases...Now you get it. Where I hunt in Butler County it's the locals that kill everything they see And break numerous laws . Non residents pump a lot of money into the economy in Alabama for hunting. It would sure suck if Florida starting charging out of state folk 5x more than what residents pay! I think its crap when NR buy up leases and local folks cant afford to hunt in the area they live. I care more about people then economics. Hunting is a right and its a dang shame when average folks are priced out of that right..

Funny to hear Bama hunters complain about out of state hunters. Yeah cause other states don't complain about non resident hunters 🙄 You're 100% correct there James. I know that over in Arkansas the locals putting in there at the public launch will wait for you to get back from duck hunting just so they can say hello and thank you for spending your money there. Bama residents just need to be friendlier.

If I read it right, it stated it would be read for third time on day twelve . I was told that was yesterday, but it doesn’t appear to have had anything done with it on the site I checked. Wonder if that means it was left to die again. Either way I’m planting several more acres of corn this afternoon.
