Black 4 door Jeep Cherokee 4x4. I bought it bone stock a few months ago and have since put a 3” Rough Country suspension lift, mud terrain tires, black Pro-Comp wheels, winch bumper, and a 8500 lbs winch.

Good:
- 151k miles
- tires have less than 500 miles on them
- winch and bumper bought and installed in March
- they don’t make these anymore
- towing package included
- hitch cargo basket included

Bad:
- rides like a Jeep
- low on Freon, runs freezing cold for about the first 10 minutes. Heat works great
- needs a headliner

$4200 obo, can text pics if you’re serious

Here it is:

You don't mention what kind of condition it is in. Carpet, seats, etc...

Did it come with a towing package or did someone add a receiver hitch. There's a difference. Those are known to overheat when pulling a load due to the fact that they were originally designed for a Buick 231 c.i. V6 instead of the AMC I6.

The headliner issue is normal.

Do all of the electronics work? Power door locks? Power Windows?

Is it an automatic or 5 speed?

what he said

Sig Sauer, to hell and back reliable.

Whatever suits you just tickles me plum to death.

Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?

The interior is in good shape. Some normal wear and tear as expected for an 18 year old vehicle but the dash is not cracked or anything major. The drivers seat has a very small tear. All lights inside work. It has power locks and windows. The power windows work fine. The power locks had a short or something in them and would activate randomly when driving so I took the fuse out and I just manually lock the doors. The carpet is in good shape.

Has a slight oil leak at the valve cover gasket. I have been checking the oil everytime I fill it up with gas and haven't needed to add any oil yet, so it's not enough of a leak to worry about for me.

Automatic transmission that shifts and drives fine.

The paint on it has some peeling and fading like most of them do.

It ain't perfect but it would make somebody a fine hunting vehicle, a whole lot cheaper than a side by side and it's street legal. I have been driving it from my house in Northport to my lease in Fayette (2 hours roundtrip) all during turkey season with no issues. I drove it to Montgomery and back. It's been a reliable vehicle as long as I've owned it.

Nice jeep man!! The price of XJ's has gotten totally out of control down here. If you find one that's not chopped to oblivion or totally rusted out with less than 200k miles, you're going to pay at least 5 grand for a stock one.good deal here for sure. GLWS on this one. I may know of someone that's interested,so I'll pass it on

They really are. I looked hard to find one that was as bone-stock as possible. The only reason I put a lift kit on this one is that the tires were rubbing when I turned it real sharp. They're the stock sized tires but this particular brand ran bigger than normal. If you've never done much research on these things, they are absolute beasts. They have the running gear of the Wranglers but having 4 full doors and a cargo hatch in the back gives them a whole lot more room than a Wrangler for hauling your gear. It's like having a street-legal side-by-side

Thanks for responding. I can't see the pics at work, but I will take a look when I get to the cabin tonight.
