I only buy boots with vibram soles. Makes all the difference in the world. Vibrams on my Redwings. I like them so far.

Well... I can't tell a difference if it is concrete asphalt tile hardwood floors or industrial carpet which pretty much has zero pad. Might as well be standing on concrete. Never been a lick of difference between any of those to me.
Get some heavy arse boots with a sole that don't flex and it won't make any difference what you are standing on.
Get some soft boots that feel like a tennis shoe, add some expensive granny insoles and your feet will suffer.
That's been my experience.
A lot of these work boots are glorified Air Jordan's. Tennis shoes are for playing ball not standing around on a hard surface.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

What I put on in the morning depends on what I’m doing for the day. Some days it’s loafers, some days it’s knee high rubber boots, some days it’s work boots, some days it’s dressier leather sole cowboy boots.
I always have steel toe in tool box Incase I need them for a job site
OnCloud running shoes are the most comfortable shoes to be on feet in,... and I don’t think it’s debatable. Light, flexible, great support. Fishing all day or at work they’re the most comfortable thing I’ve ever had on

Thorogood wedge soles. Next.

Thorogood wedge soles. Next. These for me.
If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Looking for suggestions on a good comfortable pair of shoes or boots for standing/walking on concrete all day. I wear ariat cowboy boots most days but I'm taking a new job that will have me on my feet most of the day and I need some shoes that will help keep my legs/knees from feeling like death after standing all day. What do you guys prefer? Since you are already wearing Ariat's, try a pair of Ariat Spitfire mocs. I'm on my feet on concrete 8 hours a day and they have been great boots so far.

Any opinions on Georgia Boots Farm and Ranch? I used to wear Georgia boots. Last time I went to buy a pair, it looked like the quality had went way down. I'm wearing a pair of Danners now and they are nice. Best boots I've ever had were a pair of Timberland Pro Boondockers. I'm rough on boots. The Georgia's were lasting me about a year. The Timberlands lasted 3 and a half. The Danners seem to be holding up well, but it's only been 8 months. The Danners and the Timberlands were both very comfortable from the get go, no break in period.

FYI. I just got an email saying that the Wild Boar Mocs like I referenced earlier are 35% off right now.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
