Not one but two in the drink. Damn.

As Woods said, "It all flipped at 12."

And then on 16 he almost aced it, which was like a big "FU, guys. Been here before." to them.

The roar would have registered on the Richter scale if that ball had rolled in on 16.

I loved it! Having a 2 shot lead walking up to 18 had to take most of the pressure off him. Had it been a 1 shot or even I wonder how it would have played out. It was an epic win and possibly the sweetest victory ever for Tiger.

I swear tho, am I the only one who thinks the interview in butler cabin always seems so awkward for everybody?

I remember us a while back arguing (not really, just discussing) whether Tiger would ever win another major. Might have been in conjunction with one of last year’s majors but I’m too old to remember for sure. However, I specifically remember my pals bill and Clem saying no way in hell and giving lots of reasons why. Just wanted to drop in and say....told you so.....goobers. grin

The guy is a horrible human being (though I pray he is changing), but he is the greatest golfer to ever touch a golf club. Craziest sports comeback story of my lifetime for sure. Was fun to watch!

You did and you were right. I hope he never wins again but he played his style of golf today and it held up. Other than coming from behind this is how he won most of those tournaments. Take very few chances and watch the rest of the leaders fall apart. I have a friend who works in player hospitality on the tour and even though he is a big Tiger fan he said he hasn't really changed much except he's consciously worked on his public image.

I was hoping nance & faldo both would shut up. Faldo obviously not a tiger fan. Yes Doc, you could cut the tension in the post interview with a knife. Glad he won.

A lot of people bitched about Verne Lindquist on football broadcasting, but he got it right today. After Tiger birdied 16, he was silent until Tiger reached the 17th tee. Sometimes the moment speaks more than any announcer, something Jim Nance forgot many years ago. He's become a characature of himself, just like Chris Berman, Keith Jackson and others.

You can dislike Tiger if you want to, doesnt really matter one way or the other, but I just don't get the people that say they hate him because of all his off the course stuff. He's not doing anything half the others (or more) are doing too. Only difference is Tiger got caught.

When he's on, he's fun to watch. And frankly he does seem a bit more likeable than he used to. Maybe he'll get his personal life sorted out and on the right track. But regardless, he was and still is a helluva golfer.

You're right Gomer. I guarantee that a lot of players on tour were sweating bullets when Tiger was exposed and hoping they wouldn't be next. Biggest difference between the PGA and the NBA is the golfers don't leave illegitimate kids all over the country.
