Gundoc, I made one using the shaft, foot control and one piece of the bracket from an old foot control trolling motor. It stows and swivels out of the way easily but the foot control is not very precise because their is no resistance when turning it like their is with running motor head on it.
If Brent can pull off what he's trying it will be an improvement over what I did. I have checked in to hooking a servo to the top of the shaft on mine where I could use remote steering, I just haven't pursued it yet.
