In a perfect world we'd have an outdoors smoker with cords of hickory, oak or pecan, or a smokehouse like the olden days.

Unfortunately, not everyone does.

School me on the differences of a propane smoker (which I have, and it works OK) and one of these pellet smokers with the auger-feed system.

Can't answer your question Clem, cause i don't use a pellet smoker, or big green egg for that matter, cause i can cook some mean BBQ without em. Wife did purchase me one of those electric smokers several years ago, and it work great! Until it stopped working one day 🤣

Just pulled a slab off the Oklahoma Joe for me and the wife. Been smoking for a while with some Cherry Rub, and just smothered it with some Bull's Eye original, fixing to wrap em up for a bit.

From what I'm understanding you cant get the bark and smoke with a pellet smoker. So I would just get an offset smoker and know your gonna have the best possible. Oklahoma Joe has some good looking ones for good prices

But between propane and pellet, I would get pellet

My son has this one in the link. It's a set and forget smoker and does a great job. I have a big propane smoker almost 5 feet tall with 4 racks that I'd sell.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I've got the same one along with a couple that aren't digital. They work great.
