First ML start against one of the best offensive teams in the game, on the road and cold temps . Don't get much tougher than that.

I’m watching and It’s damn cold and windy. Good luck to the home grown man.

Watched him a ton in high school.
Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas: sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-bitches.

His dad coached my youngest in summer ball 2 years ago. Great guy...and his youngest (trey) is at/going to tenn tech (I believe). I was noticing last night that he and Kyle have a lot of the same pitching mannerisms/mechanics. Be cool if Trey could make the bigs too. Arrieta was struggling last night too, and I believe they got Freddie on a mic telling the phillie dugout that he believed Kyle couldn't feel his fingers or the ball.

The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

Roger is a fine feller and great baseball coach. Buckhorn was in a tough area with Huntsville , Grissom , Bob Jones and Sparkman but to win it you always had to go through Roger's country boys at Buckhorn. Must be a mighty proud moment when your son and former HS player got drafted 1st round.
