Caught these 2 breeders today and had a smaller beaver Wednesday. Heres a pic of the lower pool where 2 of 3 were caught

Looks like a good place to catch a limit of moccasins.

Big Conibear trap? I love beaver ponds, any fish in there?

All 3 caught in 330's. 1 castor mound set and 2 blind sets in runs under z dive stick. Should have taken an ultralight and beetle spin, saw a little fish activity. Unfortunately there's a couple of holes in the two lower dams now.

Killed 1 snake about 6" long in the road walking out today. First one I've seen in there.

The last copperhead I saw was next to a beaver dam. KB, are the deer walking any of the dams?

If that body of water is long enough deer are using a dam to cross somewhere. My favorite thing to hunt is a dam during the rut. That is a beautiful place.
