I hope to plant Mid April no later than May 1st and then put beans in right after.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

It’s certainly rain dependent but I’ve done it the last few years. We have standing corn in late December.
This is in Tallapoosa county.

From a stationary broadcast spreader about October 1st. It never seems to grow any corn stalks even though I keep putting 50lb bags of seed in it.

I use 50 pounds on 5 acres. I also put 100 pounds of beans in there. All this goes in a cyclone hopper and I broadcast it.

Going back to soybeans instead of sunn hemp Didn't work out? Grew too well. I planted it too thick and it didn't give the soybeans mixed in a chance. Also, back luck in that our bushhog was busted during the summer and couldn't cut it back to stimulate tender regrowth. Ended up with a jungle.

timbercruiser, are you saying that I can plant the corn I feed deer, and grow corn in a field for deer ? please advise, i would like to plant corn next to my green fields, would feed corn work??? I've planted it before and had luck with it (have not tried large quantities though). Heck, it might even be round-up ready, but not completely sure...
