10 second video of Merrill Lynch CEO telling Ronald Reagan to speed it up during a speech. Warning the audio is slightly out of sync with the video.

Just one simple example of a government that controls our "elected government"

No one controlled Reagan, and that is a delusional spin on what happened there.

central ala,
Reagan was actually easy. Look at who his employer was at the time of his election that backed him financially. Then look at the stock performance of that company and the reputation of the CEO of that company starting in 1981, his election year. Very obvious with some contracts but I benefited greatly so I'm not complaining.

Reagan was a social, political and constitutional conservative pursuing that agenda.
And he was a devout anti-communist taking on the USSR directly.

Obviously, everyone who goes into politics, especially at the national level must have backers and promoters including financial contributors. That does not mean he was "controlled" is some Machiavellian way as the OP who wasn't even alive during the Reagan presidency has claimed..

As I said before, I would like to see some proof of these claims.
And by exactly who.
And for what purpose.

History books nowadays contradict everything I was taught by history books 30 years ago. Nah, it aint my job to teach you about the world. Do your own homework. I'm just gonna sit here and chuckle at your naivete.

Well someone has to benefit from having given major support to help someone go all the way to the White House.
Like getting a federal job or appointment as an ambassador somewhere. Those are normal things. And nothing wrong with that. To the victor belongs the spoils of government patronage.

But Reagan was a man of **principle** - conservative anti-socialist, anti-USSR, principles. Who just like Trump fought for those principles as a two term governor of California and a two term president. He loved the Constitution and constitutional principles.

He fought for a decrease in the size and scope and cost of the federal government, tax reform and tax cuts, cuts to regulations, and was pro-military and went man to man with the Russian USSR in the Cold War, and he fought that war to win it. And he did. Virtually single handedly, but yes Margret Thatcher, Pope John Paul, and Lech Walesa and the Solidarity Movement (encouraged by Reagan's actions) led to the collapse of the USSR - long before anyone ever thought it would happen.

Reagan was a nationalist and anti-globalist.

He supported anti-communist efforts all over the globe.
Sometimes more then he was supposed to, like crossing the line re Iran-Contra.

He was one of the greatest presidents of the 20th Century, and we have not had a good one since him until Trump.

Preach it WMHunter...

sadly Regan could not get elected today. He'd be labeled too right wing.

But don't worry the CIA is fighting very hard to keep us safe from those drugs.

Damn right! He was also a damn fine commander in chief and I’m proud to have served during his presidency.

Didn't the federal deficit almost triple under Reagan? And the mack daddy of NWO CIA globalists HW Bush as his VP?

We will never see a president go full open season against the deep state. He'd be killed.

It did go up.....almost doubled. Regan was in office for 8 years. Cater was in office one term. Multiple that growth my 4 and that is what Obama did.

That made zero sense but ok. Reagan and both Bushs did the same thing Carter (I think that is what you meant to say?) and Obama did. Different sides, same coin.
