Planning on taking the family to caney falls at Bankhead and doing a little hiking for my daughters birthday Saturday. After turkey hunting that morning of course. Y’all did me right with shorty’s burgers this summer , so what are the best burgers or other unique eating places near there? Thanks

Sapore made the top 50 list for steaks a few years ago. They have a great ribeye. It’s like 20 oz. me and my wife split it. If it’s a quick lunch. The chevron has a great little restaurant in it. The chicken fingers are great. The Mexican restaurant is ok. If you go to Haleyville to grab a bite. I would recommend rising smoke or banks bbq. I live about 15minutes from double springs. Y’all run into any problems holler at me. Several members are from the area.
