Here....Nice to be on a team with some guys that actually hunt! I’m ready for Saturday!

I think with 4 fewer teams this year, the competition, should be better, y’all should be able to contend for sure.

I saw a turkey track once years ago. Maybe I will have some luck this year.

I'm headed to Jackson County this weekend, then I'll be in Montgomery, Autauga, Tuscaloosa and Marion until my season opens here in Franklin. Looking forward to it guys!! Here's a pic I got off the card yesterday.

Awesome BC! I didn't get to hunt today. We had a house showing at 11 and 1245, so I had to help clean up junk to make it look like humans live in my house. I'm off work Tuesday and Wednesday, so hopefully I can find a few that want to die.

Cole, did you realize your first and second bird scored the exact same? Pretty interesting considering the age class difference between the two. Hate that ol boy only had one spur.

240 is strong after 4 days. Yea, I noticed that this morning. I keep an excel sheet of all my kills with details on the bird, score, hunt notes, ect. I noticed it when I logged him in. That is pretty strange.

Looking good ! Gonna take off for a couple hrs in the morning and hopefully put a boot on one .

My birds have been very selfish so far.

This has been one of my best seasons ever. Killing the limit in Alabama was cool, but it wasn’t the best part. The hard things were the best part. Getting up early after a hard day of work prior, going hunting in the rain, taking newbies that move too much, sitting in a freaking tent (which I hate with a passion), hunting blind in places where the birds were silent, and watching big gobblers strut next door all made this season that much more satisfying. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22). The Lord has been developing that aspect of spiritual transformation in my life for years, but I “turned a corner” this season. It had a lot to do with you guys. I stayed longer, prayed harder & read my Bible more because I wanted to contribute to our team. So I just want to thank you all for being great teammates, and great influences on me. Being on this team was good for me, and it’s because I was with you. Thanks guys! God bless you & keep you. However this plays out, it was more than worth it to me!

Nice post GOOSE11. This has been a fun season.....already got a new TSS recipe to try for next year. Next year will give me a chance to start in Florida without missing any of Alabama season. Looking forward to it already

Just popping in to say Goose, I really enjoyed that post of yours! Great scripture and really a testament to what turkey hunting is all about...We are blessed to chase these critters, and the Lord teaches us many lessons to mold us into warriors for Christ through our love for the outdoors. Just wanted to pop in, and congratulate y'all on a fantastic season! Lord willing we can continue to hunt these jokers for many more springs to come! God Bless!
