If it didn’t work out with the bird I was on, I was planning to move to him. Shortly after getting set up I hear someone shoot in that field 3 times. I run over there and two guys jump up and head out into some Rayonier pines that border us. Dumbasses apparently missed luckily. I’m behind the house this afternoon, not much happening so far.

Opening day was looking good until the poachers ruined it, went yesterday with my father in law and didn't hear a thing, then went behind my house this morning didn't do much good but as I headed out to work I took the long way around the dirt road and found a strutter on the backside of the property.
