So, I guess according to this, alot of us made more money than amazon last year. Sounds about right. If you’re ignorant and don’t know how to read a financial statement you should probably avoid showing your ignorance on the Internet. No need in name calling fellow. I just didnt read the subtitle. I was only off by a little. Just a couple $$

How many decent jobs have you got from a poor person? These idiots don't realize when owners pay more it has to come from somewhere. Most of the time they cut a job from their workforce. Thats why Cortez wants a 70% tax on Amazon and they left NY now everyone there is trying to get them back..i think they should pay some but if i was mayor id say come one cuz your gonna help us more here than not here..its economics 101

Everybody wants somebody else to pay for their free ride. I say do away with all income and property taxes. Just have a sales tax only. That way Julio and sharquetta pays something into the system as well as everyone else
Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

Mark thats not right. The free stuff doesn't go to the guy that dropped the soap, he gets something less enjoyable when he bends over. Then somebody else scoops up the free stuff.

I know income inequality is worse now than it has been since the days of Rockafeller, and JP Morgan. The top 1% has something like 40-50 % of the country's wealth. I don't know what the fix is but if this continues there will be no middle class. Just poor peoold and rich people. This is not good for the country as a whole.

It's pretty eye opening I have no clue how people afford to have kids, kids in activities, take vacations, save for college and live a life making less than $80K. Oh ya, most don't save for college and they have tons of debt.

No one is calling anyone any names. If you are ignorant to the tax code and financials and mouth of a bunch of liberal talking points own it. It’s okay to be ignorant. I know a lot of people that are. Well its good to meet you jhardy, now I know one more person who knows everything, or are you one of those people who is ignorant about something? I guess we all are. I know as little about the tax code as you probably do about climbing trees. But I can read a chart as well as the next ignorant shmuck. I spent a little time in college too, just decided to not sit behind a desk.

Those figures also don't include capital gains which is how most business owners make the bulk of there money. That doesn't change the fact that the top 1% have more of the country's wealth now than they have at any point since probably before WWII.

I’ve tried pretty hard to keep up with every tax I paid on anything for 2018. After getting the total bill back from the accountant and adding that to what I’ve paid in other taxes I’m very honestly at just over 63% of my gross household income for 2018 ant that doesn’t include sales tax on every time I walk out of a store.
The check that ill write to the feds alone in April based on the adjusted household income is 37.2 % of our true gross household income because of how our companies gross revenue not profit affects our personal taxes.
People that don’t own a business have no idea at the taxes that are out there. Just like all this gas tax talk, I have to pay a new state tax just because our trucks occasionally cross state lines. It’s calculated on each truck that MAY at some point be in another state.
