Anybody in Southwest AL looking for a Sako? L61R Finnbear in .30-'06. Stock and bluing looked very nice. I did not give it a detailed inspection. $799 at Eddies Pawn on 98 just south of I-10. I have the twin to it I bought from there last spring or I'd own this one. They made me a good deal on mine but I didn't press him for a cash price on this one. Nice looking rifle.

Also found a 6.5x55 Swede at Kenny's Gun Room in Robertsdale (better hurry, I may own this one in a day or two), but don't remember if it's a Forester, AIII or what.

Also found a NICE Finnbear in .7mm Mag at Quints in Saraland. They wanted all it's worth but it looked flawless in the 10 second inspection I gave it.


NOW, I'm looking for a nice Forester, A(whatever it is) or A7 or 75 in .308 with a wood stock. Had one located a month or two ago in N AL but things got crazy at home and work and I ding a linged around and missed it. If somebody knows of a nice one I'd appreciate a referral. NOT looking for a synthetic stock but would look at a stainless rifle with one,

There are 2 Sako A7 Big Game Hunters in Bass Pro- Spanish Fort. They have the Composite RoughTech stock and the Stainless Fluted Barrel. They are on Clearance I think for $999. Not sure what caliber they are. I bought My son one of the Sako A7 Big Game Hunters In 30-06 Springfield 3 or 4 years ago and He uses it the most of any of the rifles he has to deer with with now a days.

Always wanted a 6.5 Swede- unfortunately only seen right handed ones. Any chance you saw any left-handed bolts at Kenny’s? I need to get by there and check the place out. Thanks for posting- always on the look out for nice Sako’s, etc.
