I’ve had this old receiver on my desk as a paper weight for years. What’s the chance I could find a replacement barrel???

I’ve got a really reallly old central arms .410 double barrel. I think you could possible find one on gunbroker or a site like that

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

If it's a box lock action the receiver is marked 6012 or 6016, I thinks its an old Riverside (Stevens) model 315. If it's a side lock action it's probably a Crescent.

There were thousands upon thousands of those old "hardware store" guns made so you can probably find parts somewhere once you determine who made it.

Interesting side note, it seems Central Arms was a trade name use by the Shapleigh Hardware Co. in St Louis MO.

edit:

For some reason when I read your initial post, I was thinking you have double barrel receiver. However, if its a single shot, it's could still be either Stevens or Crescent.

There are two types of gun enthusiasts ... Those who have been F#CKED by PTG and those who will be!

It’s a double. Here’s the only markings I can find other than central arms. I know there is little value in it but I’m a glutton for gun projects (Mannlicher stocked 450 bushmaster on Mauser action currently in process). I don’t sell any guns I buy or build. Haven’t sold one in 20 years so I’m not necessarily worried about losing money on a project. I would like to put a barrel and stock on it and shoot some doves this fall with it. The Silver Pigeon is a little to nice for the dove field.

Tinypic is acting up and won’t let me post. 15131 and patent applied for is the only markings
