We have Att internet and it stinks. It works sometimes and it is slow. I am using my hotspot from phone to use computer. What do you all use?

I have AT&T internet over fiber optic at the office...it's never been down that I know of. Great service and affordable.

We had AT&T Uverse and regular DSL at old home and formerly at the office and it was always problematic.
New home in Chelsea is Charter Spectrum and we've never had much trouble...occasionally late at night speed seems to slow.

These are my two options and I opted to go with att since we already had Directv. We are thinking about cutting the cord and I dont think our att internet 25 (which is my only att option) will beble to handle that. I have looked to see what Charter has and they offer higher mbps for comprable prices. But Ive heard you cant just look at mbps, there are other things that really effect the speed.

I dug a ditch by hand about a 1000ft so they could lay mine underground, they put i think 2 boosters at the pole an im runnin at around 100-125mbs and my wifi is awsome..our smart tv is hardwired and i can watch anything i want with zero buffer. Everything i did was reccomended to me by a fiber optic technician..and i rekin the wire they ran was a higher gauge to increase signal strength or so i was told...its charter and it does an excellent job. Their tv and telephone is absolute garbage tho..i will always have good fiber optic internet now..so it was worth the labor..and whenever something faster comes along ill get that.

Outback hates them, but Charter has been very fast and reliable for us..............if you don't mind the cost. When you look at all of them separately, though, the "bundles" aren't too bad.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

AT&T sucks donkey balls here in G'ville, but they may be good in other locations. I think it's that way with all internet providers as far as service and issues. Charter, has been absolutely horrible and absolutely the best for me in different locations. I currently have Charter internet/tv and mobile since we moved into our new house and I have no complaints. I currently pay $105 total per month for TV and Internet and another $45 I think for my daughter's phone plan.I've got 102mbps upload and 10mbps download speed(Just checked it)

I dropped Charter and switched to AT&T wireless internet. It's been way faster and more reliable to us. Oddly, also guntersville area.

After seeing the homosexual ATT commercial yesterday I'm looking elsewhere, myself.

I think you and CarbonClimber are saying that you can get your own fiber cable that is higher quality
then what the cable provider uses, and this will improve internet speed that will be a noticeable improvement?

If so, what do I look for at the Co-op or wherever to buy this higher end cable?
