Wes, That’s gotta be photoshopped. You know the new Remingtons won’t do that. Lol
Good shooting.

Gundoc, has Remington figured out their QC problems? That's the group a 700 is supposed to shoot. Personally, I’ve never owned or shot a Remington 700 that wouldn’t do that. I’ve seen some that had issues, but they were not near as common as what I’ve read about. Mine still has the factory XMP trigger in it. I tuned it and got it breaking at a crisp 2.5# and think I’m gonna save the money and not worry with a Timney Thanks Doc, that's good to hear. I've always liked a Remington. I had some issues with a 7600 feeding (which Remington fixed) and like you said was "reading about other issues" in other models. I've been wanting a new 700, believe I may try one.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a new Remington. A buddy of mine had one of the $379.00 700 ADL's from Academy. With his hand loads, he can put together groups as good or better that mine above. I personally saw a Christensen Ridgeline at Simmons this past Saturday, that had to go back to Christensen, and was told of another they had to send back a couple months ago. A scope could not be zeroed on either because the barrel was not straight on the first one, and I suspect the same problem with the one I handled. Christensen made the first one right and probably will the second, but using the same Remington hating logic I've read on the interwebs, Christensen is JUNK!!! I don't believe that myself, it just goes to show, mass produced rifles will have issues from time to time.

I've had highly touted gunsmiths build total pieces of junk, screw the barrel in crooked, the whole nine. Some of y'all would likely get butthurt if I started naming names.
If you get one that shoots good you have better just hang on to it. Doesn't matter who's name is stamped on the side of it.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
