It was such a crappy day yesterday. After Church, then the pancakes, then working on my Jeep a little Mrs. Irish and I were hungry for some chicken wings, a little football and a little Jack Ryan on the TV.... These wings are real easy and easily rival wings you would get at any restaurant. Mrs. Irish thinks they're better... I took some chicken wings and separated then by cutting them at the joints. We save the wing tips and roast them later and then boil them to make homemade chicken broth. I took the wings and the drumlets and thew them in a bowl with canola oil, apple cider vinegar, (More oil then vinegar) season salt, black pepper, garlic powder and paprika and tossed them around good. I let them marinade in that for about 30 minutes. Tossing several more times. She preheated the oven to 300 and we placed the wings on a baking pan lined with aluminum foil so they weren't touching each other. I drizzled a little of the oil based marinade on each one. I let them cook slowly at 300 for about 20 minutes and then flipped them and cooked for another 20 minutes. Then we turned the oven up to 375 and let them cook about 10 minutes on each side to crisp up a little. Mrs. Irish likes to toss her's in various sauces, but I like mine plain. We served it with carrot and celery sticks and some Ranch dressing.
