sw1002 OP 6 point S Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 924 AL	I’ll be in the Midwest at the end of April-first of May and have a couple of states lined up to hunt. If all goes well I’ll have 3-4 days left to hunt after the hunts I have planned are over. Has anyone hunted Oklahoma public land that could offer any advice? I’ve read a good bit on the black kettle and it seems like a prospect, but is a little further west than I want to go,coming from central Kansas, if possible.

Last time we was there in 17 we saw bunches of birds. We're going to be camping at skip out lake if i hadnt taken up hunting i might have became a juvenile delinquent or worst taken up GOLF

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted..... proud Cracker-Americaan muslims are like coyotes, only good one is a dead one

Every turkey forum you read says the BK is crowded. I stayed at the motel in Cheyenne once and was gonna hunt the BK the next morning. It rained 7" and washed out a main bridge. I was afraid to get my 2wd truck off the pavement, so I didn't go. But there were several groups of hunters there, and they all got out in it anyway. All the labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.
