How does a whore, in good conscience(if there is such a combination of things), legitimize the destruction of a family just because she thinks sex is THE most important thing in life? I've been witness to this, personally, on 4 different occasions and just don't understand the mentality that overrides logic where one half of the marriage is 100% committed to family and future of the kids and one just up and dumps it all, THEN expects ALL to be forgiven when she admits to/gets caught in infidelity and brings a strange man into all the associated families. And I'm talking about bringing another man into full view just as papers are signed. Do they just not have a soul? How do they not see the permanent damage done to kids, kin and the ex spouse? It's like they took a jug of spoiled milk back to the store and swapped it for a fresh jug and they NEVER give it another thought. And it turns out that the first jug wasn't spoiled at all.

Not sure if it's applicable, in your specific situation, but based on my experience there's usually two sides to that story.

Well, to perhaps lighten the mood a bit, there’s an old joke about this type of behavior:
Little Johnny goes up to his father to seek help with his homework assignment. "Dad, can you help me explain the difference between theory and reality"?
Father replies "Sure son, go ask your sister if she would sleep with a man for a Million bucks."
So little Johnny asks his sister and she replies "Of course I would, are you crazy".
Johhny tells his father what his sister said and his father says "Now go your Mother the same question".
Johnny asks his mother is she would have $ex with another man for a Million dollars and she replieds "I love your father but for a million dollars I would".
So Johnny returns to his father and says "she said yes too, but i don't understand what this has to do with theory and reality".
His father explains, "See Johnny, in theory we're sitting on 2 Million dollars, but in reality, we live with a couple of whores".

There are probably more married folk messing around than not.

Way back when I was in my late teens and early 20’s I saw a lot of Saturday night sinners come Sunday saints and most were not out on Saturday night with their spouses. Plus we live in a world of double standards.

You may be right, but in my current circle of friends and family I believe that not to be the case. When I was in my Twenties it seemed like a lot more of the people I knew were cheating. Now, most of us are more involved with church, family and community. With that comes a certain degree of accountability for most of us. I'm in my Fifties now by the way and most of the ones that I do know of or suspect of cheating are Twenty somethings. My wife and I have been together since 1986 and I know for certain that one of us hasn't cheated and I reasonably certain that the other hasn't either.

Im not a cheater and I dont understand them. It has happened to me more than once. I would not want to ever be the cause of someone feeling the way I felt. Thats all ill say about that.
