I just purchased my second crossbow. Just wondering your opinions on Crossbow scopes for those of you who hunt with crossbows? I'd love to keep under $100 if I can find a pretty good quality scope for that amount. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Whatever you buy, DON'T buy a tru glo crossbow scope. Tried to save some money and bought one. This is my 2nd one and it's messed up. Not abused in anyway. Cheap POS from China.

Like the idea that it will allow you to turn to your FPS on crossbow just don't know how good it would be.

Has a Lifetime warranty not sure how good they stand behind it either.

I have a Hawke on 1 of mine and an excalibur on the other. Both work fine. Just get one that has the yardage settings. As you zoom the scope in the crosshairs will be on for different speeds.

ExcaliburTwilight DLX. We spend way too much money on this sport to go cheap on glass IMO

Screw a junky Excalibur scope. I bought the tact zone and sent it back because the coating flaked off the inside of one of the lenses and stuck to the rear glass, or at least that’s what Excalibur told me. I sent that one back 2 years ago and upgraded to the twilight dlx for $80 and it won’t hold zero for more than 4 hunts (cost me a deer this year due to a shoulder shot from being off 2 inches to the right) and I’m very careful with my scope not to bump it on anything. If that’s not bad enough, now there is condensation on the inside of the scope for some reason. I’m going to send this one back and try to sell the new one and I’m getting a hawke. Everyone i know who has a hawke loves it and never loses zero.

Yeah c’mon. Daniel White

Sorry you have had bad luck with them. I have dropped my xbow from my stand onto a large boulder. The illumination now doesnt work and I cant get the cover off to replace the battery as it is no longer round. Pretty hard hit. Scope still holds zero and it has been used 3 years since and 100's or bolts have been shot.

I have also heard/read great things about Hawke.

I had a crossbow scope that you had to turn on the lighted reticle to see anything never again. Make sure it works without batteries. Bad feeling to see deer turn scope on and release you had left it on and batteries was dead lol.
