Today our teams put the finishing touches and prepare for the next 4 years. They are saying that Alabama has a chance to sign the greatest class (statistically) ever, but some surprises would have to fall into place and it was unlikely. They are probably going to have to settle for the second highest rated class in history.
I haven't been following Auburn recruiting much but from what I've read they have a real good class and a chance to reel in some good ones today if things go their way.

Alabama can sign 28 or 29 today depending on which expert you ask. They currently have 24 signed and 4 on the commit list but they are expected to lose two this morning due to staff turnover or being told to shop elsewhere. These are highly rated guys so I'm hoping the latter is true and they are making room for a couple of the few 5 stars still on the board.
They are in play for about 11 kids today but can only take 2-3 at most. There are rumors that Tyson and one other will take a greyshirt which will free up two more scholly's, but that is not confirmed.

I spent two hours perusing the Tigerdroppings board last night, and my sides were hurting when I finally clicked the red x. Last year it was Surtain and it was "We will sign the #1 class and Bama won't take Ish (Sopsher) out of our back yard". Then when he announced for Bama yesterday they lost their minds.
Apparently Sopsher is fat and lazy and they didn't really want him.
They have figured out that the Amite town barber is the bag man and that's why Bama gets so many Amite kids.
There was a barber lynching thread that was deleted.
Last year Alabama knew that LSU needed DB's so they stole Surtain and orchestrated every other DB to commit to other schools.
After last seasons 29-0 loss, Coach O said in the post game press conference that they needed D Linemen in a bad way to compete with Bama, so Saban made it a priority to sabotage LSU's DL recruiting. They accomplished this by stealing Sopsher, and only allowing LSU to sign 1 4 star DE from their back yard, and a 3 star DT from Mississippi.
There were countless "Well Bama ain't gettin (insert recruit X's name here). We comin baw and we aint backin down.
There is quite a good bit of entertaining reading on that board over the last 24 hours.

The rant has more tears flowing through there in the last 6 months than I have ever seen. From billboards, sec office/officiating, NFL refs and now recruiting, everyone in low lying areas need to be mindful You obviously didn't go there in the two weeks before the Bama/LSU game in early November...when Devin White was suspended for the first half of the game.
