What is the best and most affordable push mower?

Sig Sauer, to hell and back reliable.

Whatever suits you just tickles me plum to death.

Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?

One that has rubber wheels, if you can find one.
Have a Toro personal pace. Good mower, sorry plastic
wheels.

I have had my Honda going on the 4th season. All I do is change the oil and air filter once a year and sharpen blades as needed. So far no issues.

I have 2 Hondas. One is over 30 years old and the other is over 15 years old. Change oil, sharpen blades, clean carburetor every so often. Good to go.

Honda! I bought one from Win.Mod.70 and Tree Hanger back when they were in that business, 17 years ago. I'll never forget, Tree Hanger said it was an excellent choice for a mower, but he wasn't big on it not having grease fittings on the wheels. I've changed the oil on it every year and clean the air filter and keep the blade sharp (replaced it one time) and it takes normally 3 pulls to get it started after sitting all Winter, but after that, it will start on the first pull until I put it up in the Fall. Oh and still no issues from not having grease fittings on the wheels. No issues with the mower at all, actually! I know, I've jinxed myself now!

With all of the Honda talk, just understand that Honda engines on big box stores mowers are not built the same as commercial Honda engines.

Honda is the best, not necessarily, the most affordable.

had a Honda self-prop for a long time -- easiest cranking mower, and always worked like a champ
