The Buckmasters Life Hunt was awesome as usual. We got to track for 2 wounded warriors.
This was a great buck and relatively easy track. Deer went through some water and guide backed out, Ada went straight to him.
[Linked Image]

Same night we tracked after the 1st one, we knew it was a liver shot because of footage. We tracked this killer 2 miles and he stood up 5ft from me and Ada, I gave her some woahs, and was able to finish this one off at point blank range.

[Linked Image]

These guys were heroes, both, were bomb technicians, they were trying to thank me for bringing my dog and finding their bucks but I told them no thanks needed I was the one that was thankful for their service I get to train a dog to find deer and live in this country.

After the life hunt 3 days I was able to find some more bucks for folks.
Gut shot about 130 one afternoon found late that night. I told him we'd let him lay as long as we could.
[Linked Image]

This one was thought to be a shoulder shot but after about 700yards it was a gut shot. Luv them guts.

This one I did something so stupid. I didn't listen to the dog, she had actually found this deer twice, I called her back because we were unsure of where the buck crossed the creek, when we made it across we thought it was further down. Even we stumbled on the deer walking out she gave me the dumbass look like I have been here all along and you kept calling me back. Low shot actually got guts, but when he crossed creek stopped bleeding. I still can't believe I did it. When I looked at my garmin she was all over it, it was just so thick in there couldn't see anything.

It isn't necessary to see a good tackle...you can hear it.

Dano,

It was good seeing you and Ada again this year. I'm already looking forward to next year's hunt.

Great stories and pics.

Thank you for volunteering your time to do this.
