Anything maple flavored always tasted way over the top like syrup. Is it subtle? To me it is. It’s just sweet enough to notice, but not enough to taste like syrup. I’m sure some will think it’s too sweet, however.

It lost me on "maple flavored."
Good rum taste a little like vanilla and caramel, and doesn't need any added flavors or spices. You're right. I don't know if I've ever even heard of a flavored rum

A buddy brought the BBD back from the carribean this year.. we took it to a Christmas party and all the girls were wanting to give it a go and take a shot.. it’s a real conversation starter, if you know what I mean.. Must be cool having a black buddy you can take to partys and pimp out
