No Kodiak I’m not saying I want it to continue so good people will hurt from it. I’m saying at some point we all suffer due to politicians agendas. Some more than others. This too will pass. Gotcha

Funny that people on here think the shut down should last longer. Theres folks that have missed 3 pay checks.
There are times in life when you have to sacrifice for the better good. These folks will survive. We finally have a President that is standing up to these democraps. We Must Stand with our President. I didn't say it was all Trump, its both sides so, don't try to twist my point... It can get twisted anyway ya like but, to think peoples lives won't suffer is dreaming. Not all creditors are going to be gracious to the people that can't afford to pay bills and eat so, wanting it to last longer is pure STUPID. they need to lock themselves in a room and not come out until there's a solution. On a side note, i did kill a beaver, been after him for a week

I'm a Fed working without pay and I will be voting for Trump. There are things more important than my paycheck.
Same here. However, I get pissed when people say "they should have had a nest egg, they'll get back pay, or they're just overpaid leeches". I have co-workers with sick kids, parents, and just other every day Life things that they may be living pay check to pay check over right now. In my profession any day could be your last, and it's bulldoodoo that we don't get paid when we have to work. But, we will take care of our own, Democrat and Republicans, cause when we throw on our stuff and get ready to rock, we are family.

We are seeing now what happens when a Government grows to Big....It will Eventually consume itself and collapse in Upon itself. As the old saying goes “A Government that can provide everything for People can also take it all away.” I have never been a Big fan of Big Government because common sense tells that the End result of Big Government will Not Be Good.

Good luck, maybe some good news today but, im guessing he's just gonna try to make them look non-caring

You're getting pissed off that I recommend 3-6 months of expenses in an emergency fund? Well alright, snowflake.

No I totally agree with you, and guys on here that know me and know what I do will tell you I'm far from a snowflake. I just quoted Stob and added my say. I never even read your comment. I'm just sick of people that don't have a clue categorizing all feds as overpaid and lazy. You and me are probably just alike. If I have time when I'm in Auburn one day I'll buy you a drink and we can chew the fat.

I understand people are suffering and as Leroy has said, this to will pass. What I am thankful for is we finally have a President that has a backbone and is standing up to this Swamp. Unfortunate that in the meantime people are having to suffer to Change course.

Only thing trump screwed up was saying he’ll own the shutdown. He shouldn’t have been proud of it in that interview before it happened. Shoulda blamed Dems from the start.

If everyone has been keeping up with the news lately it was reported a couple days ago that the Dems strategy is not only to block wall funding but to block everything Trump is trying to do. They want it to get so bad that Trumps base will want to vote for someone else to stop all the nonsense . Trump will have to use every executive action he can for the next 2 years to accomplish anything because people were lazy and didn’t get out to vote in November. I can’t see how any can blame Trump for doing his best to keep his campaign promises when he’s been fighting to keep them since he was elected and now the fight is even harder.

He'll get reelected. Dems ain't got no one to compete against him. Not right now anyways. I wouldn't be quite so certain. Like was mentioned in another thread earlier this week whether he's at fault or not, he will almost certainly be blamed by 800,000 Federal workers+their families for causing them troubles. That's a lot of votes that will likely be anyone but Trump. Of course, they should have had a rainy day fund but that makes too much sense. Don't forgot all of their friends and just pissy people in general. Hoping he found a way to get people back to work and getting paid. Funny that people on here think the shut down should last longer. Theres folks that have missed 3 pay checks. I think they outta get rid of half the ones furloughed cause obviously we aint dying without them. Just a small example of how big the government is thats not a must. Those employees that aint gettin paid...i have zero remorse for them. I work depending on weather. So i aint worked since thanksgiving pretty much. No one is helping me. I save my money. I also have a 7yo boy, a full time student wife. Piss on that feelin sorry for the furlough. They know it can happen. We went 5 weeks without them. That tells me we dont need most of them. Just a damn waste of money like usual. Then they say we are a broke country. Hell no wonder, look at how many gov workers we have that could be cut in half
