For anyone looking for trees Im going to give a plug for North Alabama nursery located in Joppa about 20 minutes east of Cullman.
Id talked to them a couple of times over the last year and finally placed a order for some friends and myself for some fruit trees.
Brochure showed 5-6 ft trees for $7.50 each. Picked the order up today and was very pleased. These are grafted trees and had excellent big roots on them. The keiffer pears we got were almost 8 ft tall. Chestnuts were about 7 foot. Apples and plum were over 6 foot. Stalks were up to about 3/4-1" Well worth the drive if you are looking for trees. Call and order the day before as they will have to pull the order and gather them. They have tons of trees in stock. They can email you a product list with a ton of different apples , plum, peach etc.

Are they in pots or do they lift them and sell as bare root trees? That seems cheap if they are potted.

How long will it take these fruit trees to start bearing.
