adding stuff to corn is usually just to help them find it quicker. I like corn, cheap beer and cherry koolaid. mix, let set 3 days and put it anywhere within a mile of a pig and he's coming on a string. Yep. But our pigs prefer Grape koolaid 😁
How many people am i willing to sacrifice for freedom? Everyone. All of them...
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

I’ve watched deer and hogs come 1000 yards with a wind straight to one kernel of corn that I placed for the specific purpose of seeing if they would find it. I’ve done this on many occasions. When you try that you’ll know scent control is BS and there is no end all bait for hogs. There are a couple for deer though. Besides the commercial stuff or corn, the strawberry jello, beer, and five day corn can bring out the masses but the boars are still picky. A lot of times folk just don’t realize the hogs are already there waiting. Its pretty easy to pick off the sows and youngers from long range but up close on boars is addictive as hell. I’ve watched boars walk over the top of every potion known to man without stopping. I usually hunt just off their trail with a handfull of corn hoping they will stop for a split second for a whiff. Peanut powder mixed in cheap vegetable oil gets their attention too. Hell, they like eating each other and deer too. When I stimulate an area for boars, I dump a fresh goopy railroad tie or tack carpet around a tree and squirt axle lube all over it. They love rubbing on that more than eating I think. In the end, their weakness might not be their appetite, it may just be their rigid routine of using the same path. You gotta up yo game

I will just stick to dropping cur dogs in the areas i know they are laying and sort out the casualties when the dust clears. Lol We must be hunting a different breed of hogs because as soon as I put corn out the big boars are most of the time the first to show up. They show up before daylight and after dark but i haven't found anything that works better than straight corn on the ground, but with that being said i follow the K.I.S.S. method when it comes to alot of things. LOL.
