Anybody have any updated intel from Arkansas? Been a terrible season so far as others have mentioned. I am going in two weeks and there does not appear to be a single day that it falls below freezing in Central AR in the 10 day forecast. Heck, even MN and IA are not expected to have truly cold temps anytime soon. A lot can change in two weeks, but ducks don't fly South for fun, so unless something changes mid-Jan may be a bust.

I'm hunting alternate species and getting ready to start fishing.

Dont go. Son just got back last weekend and it was pathetic. Guide told them he had birds and lied. If bbn he does not refund some money to then he will slam him on the guide page.

Hate to hear all the bad reports. I had a hunt lined up next week that I was invited on. Starting to look like I'll be deer hunting with my Dad, which is fine also. I'm not a duck hunter, I was just going for fellowship and experience. May have to rain check it,

i hunted on about 20 miles from the arkansas line in mississippi last the weekend before christmas. it was the worst hunting we have had there in the last 3 years. no ducks at all, way too much water with all the rain and warm temps make for bad duck hunting.

Man I wouldn’t go unless you think there’s a good chance you can get on some specks, but even the specks are spread out now

That stinks, some of the guides in the area around Weiner were telling clients don't bother coming over. Some were wanting to reschedule but not sure where all that stands. It doesn't look good for this year. We've backed out of going over several times now.

I suspect this is a bigger problem than the temps....

I’m supposed to go next weekend and hunt with my son near Lonoake. He said there is too much water and no ducks. Don’t think I’m going.

Friend of mine was going W-F of next week to Central AR, north of i-40. Got the call from the outfitter today telling him not to come unless he and his group just wanted to. Said very few birds in the area and it did not appear that they would get many due to weather conditions between now and then.

Was planning on hitting the Bay in the AM, may just sleep in.

Supposed to go to Pochy next weekend and my buddy up their said don’t waste the gas money driving up.

Just got back from SE Missouri and it was bad. To make it worst was all flyers were headed back north.

We had a pretty good couple of days this past weekend just south of Stuttgart.

Friends just got back for LA. They killed 5 ducks in two days.

The duck hunting is so bad down here right now even the crooked money hungry outfitters are cancelling hunts. By far the worst I've ever seen it. I drove from my house all the way to Cameron this morning and other than a few scaup, I didn't see any ducks at all. It's very concerning as to what's happening with the ducks.

I didn't go to Arkansas. My friends didn't see any ducks, my cousin is near Clarendon and they didn't fire a shot.
