I would say it isn't the only way, it can be done in figure 6 traps. However, it is the most efficient method IMO.

And for the record, I like the Jaeger Pro traps and consider Barry a friend.

Barry is the man! I have never had success placing the trap and waiting like yall did as I am not very patient. I find hog sign, bait the area once the hogs come 3 or 4 nights in a row its time to move the jager pro system into place. It is very effective at entire sounder removal. 38 is the largest group Barry has assisted us in capturing to date.

The "only way" sounds pretty arrogant. There may be more than one way. Jaeger may be a sponsor of the Management Advantage but other systems do the same with the same results. And no, I don't have sponsors

Also the NRCS will often rent these traps to the public to assist in controlling hogs on their land. Just contact your county agent
