I don’t climb because Im tubby and the Army took care of my knees. When I hunt mobile I use a millennium tree seat and try to pick an elevated spot to set up but I’m looking for some type of pop up blind to go with it. Not a ground blind. I’ve tried those turkey blinds but they’re usually made out of nylon and reflect sun light. Anyone know of anything? Thanks!

I’ve looked at the ghost blinds but always saw them as a gimmick.... anyone ever used them with success

I thought a pop-up blind was the same as a ground blind?

Pop up blind with a roof or ground blind as in something to get out in front of you?
I built ground blinds out of pvc and camo burlap. Brushed them in and sat on a bucket, works like a champ and it makes for a good rest

You could probly get crafty with a tree umbrella and get some material sewn on to hang down if you don't want it to be attached to the ground but I don't know of anything made like that.

I guess technically, they're all ground blinds.

Just buy one of these... Rub it down with mud like waterfowl hunters do their lay-out blinds and add some natural brush to it if ya want
blind

Along the lines of what I’m looking for, wish it was burlap

When not climbing, I use a turkey lounger chair and a screen like the Primos UpnDown Stake Out. For the walk in, I get the velcro strips at Home Depot and attach the rolled up blind to the chair and use the chairs shoulder strap to carry them. I also use them turkey hunting.

People kill deer and turkeys out of ground blinds every year. What’s the issue with them?

no issue whatsoever, I have them all over my lease.... this is solely for mobile purposes.

I have a 4lb tree seat and am looking for something very light just to provide cover for me wherever I set up

I keep a pair of small pruners with me.
I can make a ground blind from most any available vegetation in just a few minutes.

I’ve got one I made. Bought about 6-8” of camo mesh. Used the metal legs off a funeral wreath and sharpened them to stick in the ground. Very lightweight with a sling.

I like the mesh because you can see and shoot through it

I’ll shoot you a pic later and see if it’s what you are talking about.
