Running a little late but finally played Clark Griswold and got the lights up on the porch. We don’t go too crazy. Just a few lights to say “Hey, it’s Christmas.” Anyone on here got pics of their outside lights to share?

We just put up the bare minimum this year. Wreaths on the windows and lights around the arch of the front door. We just didn’t have a lot of time as much as we spend chasing my oldest from one wrestling tournament to another.

Hunterbuck, I think you should start another business. You could get rich! You clearly have a future in home decorating. grin

I did this a couple of years ago. The wife was not amused. This year, well, we've been busy with other things.

Sig Sauer, to hell and back reliable.

Whatever suits you just tickles me plum to death.

Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?

Years ago there was an old black man that lived between our house and town, Mr. Charlie McCaskill. One year he put two strands of lights around the side of his house, and left them on. That same two strands were lit up for 5 or 10 years, all year round. The old man died and I guess it was his kin folks took down his lights. RIP Mr. Charlie

Ah, hell, the kids like ‘em.
My daughter is 19.
“Dad, when are you going to put the lights on the porch?” She’s been asking for 2 weeks.
It gets to be a tradition after 20 years.

We normally put a tree up on Thanksgiving day then lights within days after.

This year we just got a tree up yetserday so we behind.
No loghts outside this year. I just bought a house and im covered up in work. Its ruined my huntin season too but i rather be a home owner and complain than be in an apt. Hell naw.

And we quit buyin trees. We like to go cut our own cedar tree. Its free and im carrying on my grandpaws tradition. Screw payin 40 bucks for a farm tree just to get tossed in a few weeks
