I came home the other day and there was one of those in my turkey pen. It had killed a hen peacock and a guinnea and one of my young turkeys had escaped in the comotion. Stupid owl cost me about $200.00.we will stop right there. Reminds me of a story I heard once upon a time. Supposedly, a man was losing a chicken or 2 every night to an owl. His chicken pen had wood posts around the perimeter. The man discovered that a coilspring trap will sit perfectly on the top of those posts. The end.
He never promised that the cross would not get heavy & the hill would not be hard to climb.

Saw a huge one earlier this season. They are dead silent though.
It is easier to fool a man than to convince him he has been fooled.
