marshmud991 OP 14 point M Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 9,046 USA	I built an AR in 7.62x39 to carry with me on the farm to use on the hogs. I will be shooting the surplus 123gr HPs. Also looking at the possibility of using it for a woods gun for deer hunting. I used to have a SKS and my brother killed quite a few deer with Rem corlokts. Any of you guys deer hunt with this caliber and was rounds are y'all shooting? It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

I want to try some of the cheap stuff in a soft point too, but haven't found it in anything but FMJ at my local hardware store. Nice build by the way, I bet you will be pleased with your choice of caliber too !
