Hey fellas, I like to keep it simple (KISS) and whilst I won’t knock the Nocks, let me tell you what works great for me.
A few years back I tried the lighted nocks and wasn’t happy with most of my bolt recoveries because the nocks can do some funky stuff.
I thought about it a while and bought some reflective paint for bicycles and spritzed my shafts and fletchings a bit. Now even Rustoleum makes a reflective paint. When I hit it with my flashlight, it stands out amongst the environment. Sometimes a lower beam works better. It doesn’t always glow like crazy like an emergency becon but once you get used to what you are looking at, works very well. Its akin to seeing the deers belly in the dark.
My friend did the same thing with fluorescent paint and he has a black light flashlight. He got the idea from looking for scorpions at night. The thing is my fletchings are a fluorescent color that shows up with his light.

The NuFletch Ignitors are the best I’ve ever used. I unsuccessfully tried Lumenoks and Easton Tracer nocks for a while until I finally listened to some folks on here...These NuFletch Ignitors are the only way to go IMO

Fire Nocks are the best! They cost more but are worth it . They work correctly and last for years, just don't let a deer run off with one.

CEZ reflective wraps do not effect the flight of your arrow at all and they shine brighter than any reflective tape I have even seen.

The only thing I found in the search thread was about Nufletch Ignitors. Are these the best lighted nocks available to most people? If not, what are the best? I have always shot Nockturnals, but I am becoming more and more frustrated with them.
Out of curiosity, what do you dislike about the nockturnals?

Out of curiosity, what do you dislike about the nockturnals? I believe that their switch/sliding mechanism in the nock is faulty. More times than not (for me anyway) every time I turn it off the slider inside the nock breaks, or gets pushed up to far and does not come back down after being shot again. (I do not think I explained that, but maybe it makes a little sense)

I like the idea of the reflective tape, but I enjoy being able to track the nock to the target. Thank y’all for the ideas/opinions! I don’t understand this one but we all have our different reasons. I only do my reflective method to find my bolt because most of my shots are double lung passthroughs.

I've been using the Nockturnals for several years and i agree the mechanism for turning off the light does get messed up periodically. That said, I still like these the best overall. The NuFletch Igniters look like they would work well if you don't mind adding the nock insert to your arrows. I like that you can just use the Nockturnals right out of the package without any added weight or work. Price wise, they seem to be comparable to the NuFletch Igniters.

I only do my reflective method to find my bolt because most of my shots are double lung passthroughs. I know we all wish to double lung them, but that is not the case on every shot. However, I believe the lighted nocks allows you see exactly where you hit the deer. Sometimes the nock can be misleading as well, but you still get an idea in my opinion.

I agree, and that is why I have shot them for years. It is just frustrating when a you get a pack and they may be done after one shot. I actually still have one that I have been shooting for 3 years now and it functions great. I am sure there is fault in all of them though, I was just curious to which ones other people liked and used.
