Looking for a place in the general Bham area that does a good job processing hogs. I’d ideally like one that offers smoked sausage/rope sausage in addition to normal ground sausage. I hunt in Sumter Co but live in Hoover. If anyone knows of a clean operation between there and Hoover (or anywhere in general Bham area) I would appreciate it.

I realize it's a bit further south, but they are just off the 205 exit.
Reeds meat processing, 510 Dunlap Dr, Clanton.
They will do an excellent job and offer all kinds of special cuts and seasonings.
I think they got a website now, too.

Argo Deer Processing off 78 in Cordova does a very good job. I had a hog done recently and it turned out great. I did not get any link sausage done, so I'm not sure if they do that. 205-225-0021

I'm also looking for a processor but in the Greenville / Fort Deposit area? any suggestions?

I have used 3. Buckster's in Montgomery. Park's in Possem Bend (near Camden), and Reed's in Clanton. Don't know of any others around.
