Exactly what they want you to think. Nothing happened, nothing to see, move along. AU's leadership is pathetic. Who is their president and AD anyway? Those guys have some explaining to do. President is Steven Leath, who was hired despite red flags concerning finances at his previous job. His previous employers didn't do anything to keep him around. Pretty much was "See ya, bye." AD is Allen Green, who apparently is caught in the middle of a Board pecker-measuring contest and a president with little or no power.

I honestly believe that this is a "Guster's Last Stand" sort of a thing. He's saying to everyone that succeed or fail it's all going to be on him next year. Who knows... He may just use this is a motivation to take the bull by the horns and have a great season next year... But without a proven quarterback and without any proven ability to develop one, I don't see this turning out well. He may be gone after next year no matter how it plays out.
