Doesn’t matter who the OC is, Gus is gonna call the plays.
I predict he’ll be fired by late October of next year
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Kodi burns will end up as OC. Oh joy Bahahahah.... Kodi Burns.... Haha Haha That guarantees another year of the sugar huddle and hurrying to the line to run the same play that just gained 1.5 yards.

Hell, since Gus is going to end up calling them anyways, I'll do it and never question what he calls. I'll do it for $250K, which is a bargain for an OC. As long as my check is deposited on time, I'll let the media dog me out all day long. No problem there since everyone knows who really calls the plays. That way there won't be a need to search for a new OC every year as long as Gus is there and there won't be any locker room unpleasantness due to HC/OC conflicts. Keep in mind, I know very little about calling offensive plays, but I am aware of this, so I'll be the best "Get back" Coach a team has ever had.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Might as well hire Patrick Nix With the way things work, that truly might be their best bet. If nothing else, he'll want to stay there to watch his son.

I think I heard the NCAA has a rule stating the college cant hire a recruits head coach the same year at committment. Not sure the rules on a players coach who happens to be the dad. Could you imagine the fallout at qb, every other qb on the roster would transfer quick I'd bet. FWIW, I think nix would be a better x&o coach than gus

FWIW, I think nix would be a better x&o coach than gus That is in fact a rule that came to be a couple of years ago. However, if the school is hiring the coach to an "on-field" position, which offensive coordinator would certainly be, then the rule does not apply. The rule was put in to prevent hiring high school coaches with stud players as analysts and such.

If Patrick Nix is dumb enough to let his Son go to Awwburn in the midst of this chitshow, He would fit right in with the other Offensive gurus down there.
