Henry's 99 yard TD run last night, I think he had 4 or 5 all together.............I like it when he throws that 250# LB like a rag doll.

I wouldn't expect much less from the best running back in SEC history.

Expect what? It was his 29th game as a pro, and the first worth talking about. He hadn’t had more than 58 yards in a game this season prior to Thursday night. His counterpart in the backfield, 5’ 8” Dion Lewis has outplayed him all year.

Michel, Chubb, and Johnson has made bigger impacts as a rookie than Henry came close to making last year. He’s much closer to being a bust, but maybe something has clicked after 29 games. Was that what was expected? Just curious.

I am a Henry fan but his effectiveness seems to come with high number of carries and wearing the defense down. The NFL is a passing league with enough run mixed in to keep a defense honest. He is a huge back with a wicked stiff arm that is difficult to bring down if he can run straight ahead. Changing directions and shiftiness isn't his game. While he won the Heisman while carrying Alabama to the 2015 national championship I don't think he is the best back from Alabama let alone the SEC.

I been around here long enough to know the deal. But I don’t give a crap about what he did in the minor leagues or some dumb fanboy rivalry. What he said about his production in the pros is not accurate, plain and simple.

The 99 yard td shouldn't have stood. He face masked the first guy.

Hell, I didn't say much about his production in the Pro's. I stated that I wouldn't expect much less from the Best Running Back in SEC history. I said he was the best RB in the SEC, Not the NFL.

Henry will be long remembered as having, by far, the best season that a running back in the SEC has ever had, not his 4TD 238 yard rushing game in the NFL.

In reference to somebody posting about his big game in the pros - you said you wouldn’t expect any less. I think I’m understanding that fairly well - maybe not - I’m getting old. The point is, nobody expected it. And the team that drafted him probably wished it didn’t take 30 games to do something.

You on the cocaine? I guess you're right since he's the single season leading rusher but he's down in the mid teens on total yards for career in SEC.

The single season discussion isn't even a discussion.

Most would say Cam Newton was the best QB of all time in the SEC, I bet his career numbers are WAY low in comparison. People sure as hell ain't gonna say Aaron Murray.

There is no way anybody but a Bammer would consider Henry better than Herschel Walker, Bo Jackson, or Emmitt Smith.

Only 1 of those guys won the Heisman while carrying his team to a National Championship, holds the single season rushing record, and holds the single season rushing TD record.

Henry had 10 more tds(28) than hershel had at 18 in his best season. Bo best season was 17.

Henry had 330ish more yards than hershals best yr and about 400 more that BOs best yr. Henry is also the only back in SEC history to go over 2,000yrds in a single season.

The stats back up the argument that he single handedly had the best yr of a running back in sec history.

Henry had as a career: 602 attempts for 3591 yards averaging 6.0 yards a carry. 42 tds
Hershal. : 994. 5259. 5.3. 49tds

Henry was never the guy until his final yr having split a substantial amount of Carrys with tj yeldon and Kenyan drake. No telling what Henry's numbers would be career wise had he been the guy three full yrs like hershal.

No doubt tho, hershal was a beast of a RB.
