Well, I don't see many posts about fishing in and around Mobile, but I would venture to say that you can find some of the best inshore action (this time of year) as you can anywhere along the Gulf Coast. Personally, I grew up in Biloxi and spent many a day fishing anywhere from Biloxi's own Back Bay to Big Lake (Calcasieu Lake) in Lake Charles, LA. I have spent numerous days wandering the marshes in and around Delacroix, fishing the bridges in Lake Ponchartrain, fishing in the Biloxi Marsh, and just about everywhere in between. I have had good trips and I have had bad trips, but little did I know what I was missing by not wandering just a little further east. I moved to Mobile back in 2008 and didn't really start inshore fishing the area until about 5 years ago and to say that I have been shocked would be an understatement. I have never fished in an area that holds the quality of inshore fish that the waterways around Mobile hold. Couple of pics from the yesterday:

Definitely a great time. I love inshore fishing.
